About East Barnet Festival

East Barnet Festival is managed by East Barnet Community Festival Ltd, a company limited by guarantee. No. 3213293. The company has charitable status No. 1063654.
The Trustees who organise the Festival are all volunteers, and manage the trust as a charitable company. The aim is "to promote the Festival and to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time with the aim of improving the conditions of life for the people of East Barnet".
The Festival only works because so many people voluntarily give up their time and talent, and new volunteers are always welcome. All the income from sponsorship, concessions, support from the London Borough of Barnet, stall bookings and advertising in the brochure is used for hiring the stages and marquees, for publicity, and to meet the neccesary health and safety rules: and also to promote special childrens events such as the decoration of the pavilion.
As entry to this family event is free, we have no income from gate receipts.
